Stern Math at International Dyslexia Association Annual Conference
Temple Ary presents Stern Math at the International Dyslexia Association Annual Conference in New York City on March 14:
Stern Structural Arithmetic: Models for Understanding
Research demonstrates that students with dyslexia need to visualize math concepts. Through structured lessons and designed manipulatives, the Stern Method develops number sense, numeric value, and arithmetic operations in the classroom or tutoring session. This session demonstrates activities and materials created by Catherine Stern that present math language and concepts in a concrete way.
